Eva Mae Nicholson, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born on March 21, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmon Nicholson; children, Roy Nicholson, Brenda White, Randall Nicholson; parents, Charles and Jewel Brown; siblings, Dennis Brown, Herbert Brown, Doris Brown, Charles Bud Brown, Kathleen Brown, Richard Brown; grandchildren, Rodney D. Locke and Clifford Eric Sneed (Pumpkin); and a great great grandchild, Arian Jacob Timms. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry Nicholson, Sandra and Eddie Taylor, Danny and Sharon Nicholson, Jeff and Scherriea Nicholson, Steven Nicholson, Tracy Callahan, Kim and James McDowell, Keith and Monica Nicholson; daughter-in-law, Rita Nicholson; son-in-law, Timothy White; siblings, Jack Brown, Pat Wimpy, Carol Smith; grandchildren, Allen Nicholson, Tony Locke (Alana), David Locke (Melissa), Darrin Locke (Connie), Eddy Taylor, JR (Starla), Tonia Taylor Talley (Scotty), Angie Muse (Greg), Randall Nicholson, JR (Clarinda), Carla Nicholson, Amie Fowler (Jonas), Kason Nicholson, Kristin Gray (Keith), Zachary Callahan (Megan), Nathaniel Prater, Hailee Roper; 38 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; lifetime family friend, Nelda Hatfield; and her beloved fur babies, Dodger and Daisy. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Eva Mae Nicholson will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor James McDowell, Darrin Locke, and Rev. Junior Clayton officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening.
