Evangelina Herrera Vasquez Unzueta, age 78, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She was born on August 29, 1936 in Pascuales, Durango, Mexico to Filemon Herrera and Margarita Vasquez. She is survived by her husband, Luis Unzueta; sons, Jorge Luis Unzueta, Martin Unzueta, Manuel De Jesus Unzueta, and Javier Unzueta; daughter, Maria Chaidez; brother, Vicente F. Chaidez; sisters, Elia Quiroga, Maria R. Soto, Guadalupe Pereda, Margarita Soto, Magdalena Nunez; and 8 grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Evangelina Herrera Vasquez Unzueta will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM till the hour of service.
