Evangelist Sheila D. Brooks, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023. She was born on September 8, 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Charlotte Arries "Neal" Pitts; brother, Jackie Pitts; sisters, Rita Griffin, Brenda Miley, Shirley Ray. She is survived by her husband, Frank D. Brooks; daughters, Samantha LeAnne (Shane) Franks, Jennifer Ann (Heath) Page; sister, Debbie (Hal) Goble; brother in-law, Gary Griffin; grandchild, Solomon Franks; beloved son, Jeremy Callaway. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sheila D. Brooks will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Monday, March 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Johnson will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
