Evelyn E. Lovain, age 94, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was born on January 25, 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Lovain; parents, Everett and Rena "Moore" Cowart; sons, Terry Lovain, Johnny Lovain; brothers, Robert Cowart, Jack Cowart. She is survived by her son, Chris Lovain; daughters, Teresa Boozer and husband Albert, Jane Lovain Chapman; grandchildren, Craig Strain, Barry Strain, Adam Lovain, Matthew Millsap, Nicole Sherrill and husband Matt; great grandchildren, James, Caroline, Ava, Leah, Brianna, Colton, Brody and several other grandchildren. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Evelyn E. Lovain will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 6:30 PM at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Cronan officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM at Dalton Funeral Home.
