Fay Collins, age 95, of Dalton, GA. passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. She was born February 8, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, DC Collins; parents, Martha and Fred Creech; children, Anna Collins, Cathy Collins, Fonda Hobbs, Michael Collins, Fred Collins, Jackie Creech; Grandsons, Fred Collins Jr., James Lively, Tracy Collins, Noble Hobbs, Baby Frankie Branson. She was raised in Harlan, KY., loved and faithfully always watched Kentucky basketball, hobbies included: Cross word puzzles, reading books, watching old westerns. She woke up every morning and watched church while drinking her coffee. She is survived by her children, Linda (Charles) Branson, Johnny (Judy) Collins, Peggy Moore, Jacqueline Creech, Mona (Roy) Hatfield; sister, Lester Brown; grandchildren, Eddie Collins, Teresa Abner, Candie Hobbs, Ricky Hobbs, Michael Collins Jr., Christine (Jeff) Swafford, Christopher Collins, Christy Collins, Hannah Collins, Melissa (Paul) Brown, Crystal Keith, Kimberly Hatfield, Freddie Branson, Darrell Branson, Kendra Branson, Trey Branson, Tristen Branson, Jacob Branson, Holly Collins, Johnny Collins Jr., Stacey (Chad) Owens, Melanie (Jarrett) Gibson, Sarah Creech, Frankie (Lucero) Branson, Bryan Branson. Her pride and joy was her dog "Baby"; Many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Graveside and interment services to celebrate the life of Ms. Fay Collins will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Colonial Hills Memorial Park.
