Mrs. Flora Caldwell, age 85, of Dalton, GA. passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. She was born on December 1, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Royce Smith and Ema Marie "Garrett" Smith; brothers, Harold Smith and Milton Smith; sisters, Martha Hasting and Mary Huggins. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Lamar Caldwell; son, James Caldwell (Anna Marie Conrad); brothers, Michael Smith, Glenn Smith, and Kenneth Smith; and granddaughter, Brittany Caldwell. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Flora Caldwell will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at West Hill Cemetery in Dalton with Pastor David Friend officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, make donations to charity of choice.
