Mary "Frances" Tibbs, age 91, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. She was born on May 1, 1927. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nola Beaver; father, Lester Cronic; sister, Veneta Wright; and an infant brother. She is survived by her children, Sandy Anderson (Don), Lisa Tibbs Cantrell (Randy), Jerry Tibbs (Cindy); sisters, Jayne Quinn (Jerry), Marti Phillips; grandchildren, Angie York, Steve Anderson, Stacy Scott, Nikki Redwine; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff at Quinton Memorial Nursing Home and Hamilton Hospice. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mary "Frances" Tibbs will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at West Hill Cemetery with Executive Pastor Phillip Cannon officiating.
