Frank David Godfrey, age 68, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, August 31, 2015. He was born February 28, 1947. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Roe Godfrey and Mary Florine Gossett Gibson; brother, Dennis Gibson; and a sister, Virginia Montgomery. He is survived by his sisters, Carol Moore of North Carolina and Sandra Harrow of Flintstone. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Frank David Godfrey will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 PM till the hour of service.
