Frankie June Layman, age 66, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019. She was born on May 25, 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Oal and Nola Jean Washam; granddaughter, Candace Gilliam. She is survived by her husband, Garry Layman of Chatsworth; daughters, Melissa Dalton (Anderson Noland Jr) of South Carolina, Anna Marie Kirby (Carlton Kirby Jr) of Chatsworth, and Shereiva Davenport (Aaron Davenport) of Chatsworth; sisters, Shereiva Massey-Herman of Scott County TN, Phyllis Gibson (Jerry) of Scott County TN, Tena Myers (Tony) of Scott County TN; brothers, Benny Washam (Gladys) of Deer Lodge, TN Michael Washam (Tonya) of Scott County, TN and Tony Washam (Heather Reed) of Scott County TN; grandchildren, Von Dalton, La'Tena Dalton, Cierra Kirby, Heaven Prenzlow, Devan Sheppard, Olivia Kirby, Briyanna Davenport and Ayden Davenport; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Frankie June Layman will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Immanuel United Fellowship in Resaca, GA with Pastor Andy Lands and Dewayne Payne officiating and visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The family will be receiving friends for visitation Monday July 15 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home.
