Frankie Sue (Payne) Ruiz, Age 86, of Novi, MI, Born September 15, 1931 in Acworth, GA. passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Rockyface, GA while visiting her sister.  She was the daughter of Roy and Alva (Camp) Payne of Acworth, GA. Frankie is survied by her loving son Garry Lewis of Novi, MI., Granddaughter Raychael Lewis of Manchester, MI.,Grandson Michael Lewis of Livonia, MI. Great-granddaughters Brynna Cotton of Portsmouth, VA. And Ava Lewis of Belleville, MI., Sister Velma "Teddy" Summey of Rockyface, GA. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Alva Payne, Grandson Garry Lewis, Jr., Sisters Eva Ruth Guinn-Jones, Jamie Richardson, Brother WG Payne. Frankie moved to Michigan in the 1950's to pursue a career in the booming automotive industry, starting as a line worker for General Motors rising to the position of quality inspector.  In addition to raising her son Garry, Frankie  was instrumental in the raising of her 3 grandchildren.  In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to new places and loved to see live country music shows. Frankie will always be remembered for her love of family. Visitation will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 from 10 am until the hour of service at 1 pm at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
