Mr. Freddie Richmond, age 87, of Dalton, GA passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. He was born on May 4, 1935. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Willie" H. Richmond; mother, Maude "Hackney" Richmond; son, Alan Richmond; brothers, Clyde Richmond, Elbert Richmond, and Kenneth Richmond; sisters, Margarett Blackwell and Audrey Gordy. He is survived by his wife, Winona "Smith" Richmond; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Veronica Richmond; daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Robin Richmond Mason and Rodger Kenneth Mason of Paint Lick, KY, Lori and Dr. Ken Cyree of Oxford, MS; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Jane Richmond of Nickelsville, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Anne and Ralph Muse of Resaca, Judy Padgett of Cleveland; grandchildren, Ashley Beth Mason Cropper and husband, Dr. Jarrod Cropper of Nicholasville, KY, Ariana Swentzel and husband, Brock Swentzel of Richmond, KY, Alison Marie Mason, and Andrew Rodger Mason of Paint Lick, KY, Kyle Cyree of Carrboro, NC, Alex Richmond, Alan Richmond, and Javy Richmond; great grandchildren, William Bluford Cropper and Henry Mason Cropper of Nicholasville, KY, Kiley Grace Swentzel and Noelle Faith Swentzel of Richmond, KY. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Freddie Richmond will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Life Gate Church in Dalton with Dr. Robin Richmond Mason officiating. Interment will be at Life Gate Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Life Gate Church in Dalton.
