Obituary

Freddie Williams, 54 of Rossville, Ga passed away Monday February 8th, 2016 in Statesville, Nc. He was born and raised in Rossville, Ga. He loved sports and was well known in the North Georgia area for his many years as a Softball and Baseball coach. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his two sons and was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father; Ross Williams, mother; Shirley Williams, paternal grandparents Fred and Elizabeth Williams, maternal grandparents Carl and Marjorie McAfee and great aunt Aline Osborne. He was survived by loving wife of 21years, Mary Williams of Statesville Nc. Sons; Dallas (Kristal) Williams of Rossville, Ga and Will Williams of Statesville, Nc. Also, survived by one grandchild Janey Beth Williams whom he cherished dearly. Brother; Dennis Williams of Statesville, Nc. Mother in law Juanita Dyer of Dalton, Ga. Aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews survive as well. Visitation will be held at Dalton Funeral Home on Friday February 12th, 2016 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at 2 pm with internment following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery Chatsworth, Ga 30705. Pastor Scott Parrish will officiate services. Family asks that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Dalton Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S.
