Fredrick "Fred" Daniel Devlin, age 87, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019. He was born on June 19, 1931. Fred was a veteran who served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War and will be given full military honors. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Devlin; parents, Joseph and Ruby Devlin; daughter, Tonya Ovbey; and brother, Joe Devlin. He is survived by his son, Chris and Shari Devlin of Virginia; daughters and sons in law, Zoe and Ronnie Hooker of Dalton, Tuesday and Linc Jones of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, Jack and Sue Devlin, Johnny Devlin, Tommy and Susie Devlin, Gary and Angela Devlin; sister, Mary and David Hamilton; grandchildren, Ryan, Skylar, Michael, Seth, Wyatt, Falynn, Tani, John Daniel, Zebulon, Alex, Logan and Judas; great grandchildren, Willow, Julissa, Ezekiel, Bailey, Lily, Dillan, Paige and Madison. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Fredrick "Fred" Daniel Devlin will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Cowart and Pastor John Souther officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Monday evening, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
