Mr. Fredrick (Freddie) Russell Neely, 50, of Varnell, Georgia passed away at home on Sunday, July 9, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 4, 1967. Freddie was known to others as a sweet and caring man, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, if it was just to help a lady carry her groceries to her car or give a friend a ride somewhere he was always there to help. Mr. Neely was proceeded in death by his mother, Nola Henderson (Neely); father, James Neely; 2 brothers, Mack and Anthony Neely; 2 sisters, Jo Webb and Nancy Neely; and both sets of paternal grandparents. Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Davis; son, Jordon Russell; 2 sisters, and brothers-in-law, Sheryl and Ed Stanley, Trudi and Mark Stepp both of Dalton; 2 brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffery Neely of Varnell, Patrick and Karen Neely of Dalton; special cousin, Debbie Woodard; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Pam Bowen, Vickie Vinyard, Fabio and Juliane. A special thank you to Bonnie, Felicia, Starr, Christy and Heather from Hamilton Hospice for taking such good care of our brother, we will be forever grateful. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Fredrick (Freddie) Russell Neely will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy officiating.
