Mr. Garry Layman, age 72, of Chatsworth, Ga, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026. He was born on March 3, 1954. Garry was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie June Layman; parents, Hershel and Rosine Layman; grandchild, Candace Gilliam; brother, Roger Layman; and sister, Ruth McGill.

Garry was a mechanic and enjoyed woodworking, and was a deacon at Immanuel United Fellowship Ministries. He loved spending time with his grandkids and will be missed by all that knew him.

Garry was survived by his daughters, Melissa Dalton (Andy Noland, Anna Kirby (Brad), Shereiva Davenport; grandchildren, Von, La`Tena, Cierra, Heaven, Devan, Briyanna, Ayden, and Charlie Brown; and grand fur baby, Alaska.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Layman will be held at Immanuel United Fellowship Ministries on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
