Mr. Gary Wayne Howard, age 74, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022. He was born on July 20, 1947. He was preceded in death by his father, William Tomas Howard, step-mother Evelyn; mother, Dorothy Sneed Martin, step-father Dale Martin He is survived by his wife of 50 years Mary Ann Howard of Chatsworth; sons, Eric and (Dana Howard) of Dalton, Brad and (Linda Howard) of Illinois; daughter, Garronica and (Raymond Bentley); grandchildren, Ray and (Amanda Bentley), Autumn Bentley, Emily Allen, Christian Howard, Tristan Howard; great grandchildren, Scarlett, Bentley, Ellie Bentley; sisters, Judy and (Joe Purcell) of Dalton, Brenda Rakestaw of Cartersville, Vickie Crider of Dalton, Wanda Martin of Dalton, Cindy and (Archie Baker) of McDonough, brothers, Tom and (Beverly Howard) of Acworth, Lonnie and (Tena Martin) of Calhoun; aunts, Faye Bowers, Norma Howard; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Gary Howard will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022 at Cross Point Christian Center (North Bypass and Underwood Street). Stan Lester, John Paul Burdashaw and Michael Douglas will be officiating. Interment will be at Little Prospect Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday March 18, 2022 Cross Point Christian Center (North Bypass and Underwood Street).
