Geneva Morris, age 72, of Kingston, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was born on February 21, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Vernon Singleton and Gladys Ruth Hicks Singleton; brother, Earl Singleton; sisters, Elmer Singleton, Dimple Cox and her husband D.L. Cox, Aileen Smith, and Debra Turley. She is survived by her husband, William Morris of Kingston; son, William Douglas Morris of Kingston; daughters and son in law, Donie Bridges of Kingston, Sherrie and Jamie Swan of Kingston; brothers and sister in law, Vernon Singleton of Calhoun, Bobby and Teresa Singleton of Calhoun, Ricky Singleton of Dalton; sisters and brothers in law, Shelia and Roger Redd of Adairsville, Jackie and Robert Brown of Kingston, Charlene and Shane McFall of Dalton; Brenda Randolph of Tennessee; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Geneva Morris will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Donald Lindsey, Donald Collum and John Huffman officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Kingston. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Friday evening at the funeral Home. Colin Martin, Dewayne Randolph, Jakob Monteith, Jacob Reeves, Nicholas Swan and Avery Haynes will be serving as pallbearers. Nieces and nephews will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
