Geneva Bell Pace, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016. She was born on June 5, 1934. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Weldon Pace; parents, James Willard Mulkey and Elzie Mulkey; son, Carl Lamar Pace; daughter, Kathy Morgan; brother, Charles Mulkey; and a sister, Anniele Stone. She is survived by her son, James Pace of Dalton; daughters and sons in law, Deborah and David Defore of Dalton, Elaine and Lee Parsons of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, Eugene and Betty Mulkey of Dalton, Leroy and Deborah Mulkey of Resaca; sister and brother in law, Bertie and Bill Hayes of Dalton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Geneva Bell Pace will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Brock and Bro. Jason Pace officiating. Interment will be at New Zion Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-9 PM Monday evening.
