George Baine, age 90, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021. He was born on November 11, 1930. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Baine; parents, Jason and Mamie Baine; grandson, Jason Baine; sister, Gentilea Taylor; brothers, Herman Baine, Alfred Baine, Bobby Baine, and Charles Baine. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Wheeler of Cave Spring, Sheryl Andrews of Cartersville; sons, Harold Baine of Rocky Face, Leon (Sandy) Baine of Rocky Face; sisters, Birdie Hart of North Carolina, Jo Ann Thornton of Canton, Patricia (Wayne) Price of Murphy, North Carolina, Marilyn Hughes of Jacksonville, Florida; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of George Baine will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Jr Williams and Bro. Doug Howard officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Carolina. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 PM until the hour of service.
