George Anthony Davis, age 35, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, May 25, 2020. He was born on December 18, 1984. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Lee Davis; grandfather, Buster Davis; grandfather, George H. Patterson; uncles, Tony Woods, Allen Bryson, and Gary Davis. He is survived by his mother, Charlene Woods (Marvin Ponders) of Dalton; former wife, Ashley Davis; grandparents, Ronnie and Lois Woods of Dalton; grandmother, Darlene Patterson of Dalton; brothers, Timothy Jay Lee Davis of Dalton, Drake Davis (Morgan Hightower) of Dalton; aunts, Lorie Ann Bryson, Marlin Woods, Debra Parson (Wayne Parson) of Lafayette, Gardenia Caldwell (Audie Caldwell) of Dalton; his best friend and dog, Stewey; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service to celebrate the life of George Anthony Davis will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Guffey officiating.
