George Washington Burch, JR (Pop), age 88, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017. He was born on July 1, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Burch, SR and Ina Mae Burch; brother and sister in law, Dugan and Bessie Burch; and a sister, Faye Pace. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Danny and Myrinda Burch of Acworth; daughter and son in law, Sherrie and Michael Davis of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Michelle and Jesse Singleton, Candice and Loyd Baham, Ahena Burch, Jonathan and Kayla Burch; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and 6 nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of George Washington Burch, JR will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Dawnville with Pastor David Eaton officiating.
