George Stephens, age 79, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He was born June 18, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.G. and Laraine Moorehead Stephens. He is survived by his sons, Wade Stephens, Steve Stephens (Teresa); sister, Mary Brindle; grandchildren, Matthew Stephens, Cheyenne Stephens, Cameron Stephens. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. George Stephens will be held at 11:00 am on Frida, October 4, 2024 at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
