George C. Williford, 87, died Monday, January 25, 2016. George was the retired owner of G.W. Home Improvement. He attributed his 40 plus years of sobriety to the programs of A.A. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Robert Williford; and his beloved wife of 64 years, Louisa Garrison Williford. He is survived by his daughter, Diana East (Scott); son, Dr. G. Craig Williford (Carolyn); daughter, Kathryn Lewis (John); granddaughters, Jennifer Navas (Luis), Jennifer East, Michelle Always (Todd), and Annmarie West (Matthew); grandson, Joshua Jay Williford (Rachel); and 10 great grandchildren.
