Geraldine Baker, age79, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She was born July 5, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, Presley and Faney Davis Haney; son, Paul Baker. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 Years, James Bill Baker of Dalton, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jan Baker of Cohutta, GA; Ricky and Mary Baker of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Gary Burns of Dalton, GA; Carolyn and Lonnie Vick of Cohutta, GA; Teresa Baker of Dalton, GA; brother, Jerry Haney of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Aaron Baker, Shirley Burns, Nathan Burns, Anthony and Christy Burns, Isaiah and Ashley Baker, Brandi and Frankie Dale, Angie and Greg Boring, Melissa Baker, Skyler Dale and Braden Dale; great grandchildren, Micheal and Kaylee Burns, Katelyn Burns, Jacob Burns and Keylei Taylor; great great grandchildren, Bentley Burns and Asher Burns. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Geraldine Baker will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Pastor Donnie Patterson officiating. Interment will be at Damascus Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 2:00 PM.
