Giles Edmond Davis Jr., age 80, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He was born November 19, 1943. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Jennifer Joyce "Watkins" Davis; parents, father Giles Edmond Davis Sr, mother Mary Magdalene Davis, his brothers. He is survived by his sons, Joey Dotson and wife Yvonne, Matt Davis and wife Christina; daughter, Cindy Helton;sisters, Carolyn Thompson, Lavona Blackwell, Marguerite Davis; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
