Mr. Glenn Jones, age 77, of Eastside Whitfield County, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was born on January 9, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Arbadean "Cooper" Jones; brother, Charles Jones; and special friend, David Ridley. He is survived by his brother, Keith and Virginia Jones of Chatsworth; Kathy and Anthony Cross of Dalton; Delorse Jones of Chickamauga, GA; April Baggett of Dalton; Bill and Sandra Jones of Flintstone, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; uncle, Sonny, and Carlene Jones; great neighbors, Steve and Kaye Atkins, David Callahan; special friend for many years, Gary Arnold; and special renters, Johnny, Matt, and, April, Fredia Evans, Bill Huffman, Judy, Faye, and Dallion. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Glenn Jones will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 6, 2022 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. David Wakefield officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
