Grace Estelle Houston, age 97, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was born on December 1, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Barney Houston; mother, Mamie Elisabeth Adams; sons, David Houston, Ricky Houston; daughter, Jean Crisp; brother, George Adams; sisters, Lenore, Mazie, Tattie, Nona, Bonnie and Hattie. She is survived by her son, Ron Houston of Tunnel Hill; daughter, Sue Rogers of Dalton; grandchildren, Debbie Goodrum, Denise Parker, Kimberly Rogers, Crystal Green; great grandchildren, Ben Thomison, Tyler Murray, Brett Parker, Ryan Parker, Brandon Ragan, Bella Grace; several great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Grace Estelle Houston will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Tenney officiating.
