Grayden Lee Whitmore, age 8, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 along with his loving mother Melissa Lee Ball. He was born on January 5, 2007. He is also preceded in death by his great grandfather, Edward Ball. Grayden was survived by his grandparents, Barbara Goforth and Danny Hollifield of Riary Louise Ball of Dalton, Charles and Doris Holmes of Ringgold; Brother, Blake Whitmore of Dalton; great great grandfather, Jack Mitchell of Soddy Daisy; special aunt and uncle, Mandi Ball and Mark Wilson. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Grayden Lee Whitmore will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 27, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Randy Teems and Dr. David Flood officiating. Interment will follow at Casey Springs Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 till 9:00 PM on Sunday evening.
