Gregory Henry Scott “Psycho Scott” Dale, born on June 10, 1969, in Dalton, passed away on July 15, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Scott’s journey through life was marked by deep devotion to his family and an unwavering passion for wrestling, which shaped both his personal and professional pursuits.

Known as “Psycho Scott,” Scott’s love for wrestling went beyond being a mere pastime, it was his true calling. He wrestled, dreamed of wrestling, and watched every match he could, making the sport an integral part of who he was. Friends and family recall his enthusiasm, storytelling, and boundless energy when discussing his favorite wrestlers and matches. His career in wrestling was not only a profession but an embodiment of his spirit and relentless dedication.

Above all, Scott was a loving father, grandfather, and husband. He is survived by his wife, Treena Dale. His children, Austen Wilson and Leigha (Josh) Wilson, mourn the loss of a father whose wisdom, humor, and steady support guided them at every turn. Scott’s legacy continues in his grandchildren, Brantlee Wilson, Gracie Wilson, Hensley Wilson, and Saylor Gower, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy and pride.

Scott is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Pat (Mike) Sneed, Darlene Smith, and Linda (Charlie) Cochran, whose bonds with him remained strong throughout his life. Their shared memories speak to the importance of family unity and the close-knit ties that defined Scott’s early years in Dalton. In addition, his cousins, Robin Smith, Corey and Crystal Cochran, and Charles Cochran, reflects on many cherished moments spent together. Scott was predeceased by his brother, Robert Dale, whose memory held a special place in his heart.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Dalton Funeral Home, located at 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721. A funeral service honoring Scott’s life will follow at 3:00 pm, also at Dalton Funeral Home.
