Mr. Harlan "Eddie" Hayes, age 58, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. He was born on September 14, 1963. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harlan Hayes and Geraldine "Moore" Hayes. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Hayes; mother in law, Elizabeth Heaton; sons, Branden Hayes of Resaca, and Reid Jones and Trevor Jones of Rocky Face; daughters, Brandi Hayes of MN and Kayla Jones of TX; brothers, Charles (Suk) Hayes of Utah and David (Cathy) Hayes of Dalton; sisters, Paula Dailey of Dalton, Kristy (John) Shavers of Rocky Face, and Deana (Scottie) Watson of Dalton; grandchildren, Hazel Hayes, Braylen Johnson, and Autumn Jackson; nephews and nieces, Jon Hayes, Michelle Hayes, Derrick (Allie) Hayes, Chelsey (Nathan) Rivers, and Avery (Beth) Rivers; and special mention to "Yeti's" little clan, Caaliyah Sistrunk, Naixa Sistrunk, Marlee Rivers, and Paisley Walden. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Harlan "Eddie" Hayes will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home.
