Mr. Harold Wayne Brafford, age 65, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1957. Harold Wayne was a truck driver and drove a tractor since the age of sixteen. He also served with the Whitfield County Fire Department at Station 5 and the Gordon County EMC. Harold Wayne was a member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly and served as a minister for 8 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Wayne and Linda "Epperson" Brafford; son, Chassey Brafford. He is survived by his step-mother, Julie Brafford; the mother of his children, Rena Brafford; sons, Charlon Brafford and wife Rachelle, Torey Brafford, Kevin Brafford, Jeston Brafford; daughter, Jillian Brafford; brother, Stevie Wayne Brafford and wife Retha; sister, Cindy Starnes and husband Trey; grandchildren, Jazmin Vance, Elijah Brafford, Grace Brafford, Faith Brafford, Keaton Brafford, T.J Brafford, Jett Brafford, Julie Brafford, Jaydon Brafford, Jeston Brafford II, Tammy Gale Thompson; several nieces and nephew. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Harold Wayne Brafford will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
