Helen "Vondella" Worley, age 65, of Tunnel Hill, Ga. passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was born September 27, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Helen Gray Hodge; brothers, Danny Hodge, Timmy Hodge, Jimmy Hodge, Larry Hodge. Vondella's hands seemed to have a magic all their own, creating intricate patterns and designs that brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to receive her creations. Cozy blankets warmed the hearts and homes of loved ones. Her crocheting was a testament to her patience, skill, and boundless generosity. She is survived by her husband, Steve Worley; son, Donny Worley (Veronica); daughter, Rebecca Hunter (Brian); brother Rickey Hodge, Robert Hodge, sister, Cathy McCollum (Ernie); grandchildren, Jordan Jones, Traci Jones, Koy Worley, Kansas Worley, Kolston Worley; great grandchildren, Kayden Burton, Jayvin Jones, Jemma Jones, Jagger Jones. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Helen "Vondella" Worley will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, January12, 2025 at Dalton Funeral Home.
