Henry Authur Burchfield, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia passed way Thursday, January 18, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 15, 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sherman Burchfield and Christine Dixon Burchfield; sons, Henry Authur Burchfield, Jr. and Toby Burchfield. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Burchfield of Dalton; son, Adam Burchfield of Dalton; daughter and son in law, Samantha and John Kinsey of Dalton; special cousin, Jerry Ware of Chatsworth; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Henry Authur Burchfield will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with full military honors. Darey Kittle and Rowdy Gallman will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Saturday evening.
