Herbert Clinton Fields-age 64 of Dalton, Georgia went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 17, 2024 at home while under the care of his daughter. He is preceded in death by wife, Rita Joyce (Redwine) Fields; parents, Eli Fields and Katie Juanita (Goforth) Fields; son, Scott Flowers; sisters, Tiny Ruth Pullen and husband, Mike; Virginia Allen Hughes and husband, B.J. Herbert loved hunting and fishing. He will be laid to rest with his loving wife by his side. Survivors: daughter, Elizabeth June Cleland and Jesse; Grandchildren, Nathan Jesse Cleland, JoAnna Norma-Lynn Chadwell, Westley Alvin Cleland, Liea Michelle Wallace, Jacob Axle Flowers; great-grandchildren, Wolfgan Flowers, Iris Flowers; sister, Robin Gerene Bierig; brothers, James Franklin Fields, Everett Eli Junior Fields and Teresa. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews along with a host of friends. The family will receive friends 12 – 2 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024 with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel with music by the family. Interment will follow at Newt Cook Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Eli Fields, Robert Goforth, Jesse Cleland, Darrell Reed, Bobby Reed, Jacob Flowers.
