Hilda Sue Wells, age 69, of Chatsworth, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Hilda was a lifelong member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly of Chatsworth. She retired from Textile Rubber, where she faithfully served as a bookkeeper for 27 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Polly (Jones) Mallett.

Hilda is survived by her loving husband, Leslie “Sonny” Wells; sons, Jesse Charlane (Shanda) Bryson and Cheston (Melissa) Bryson; daughters, Tandalea (Dusty) Stephenson and Pamela (Josh) O’Bryant; grandchildren, Patrick (Jenna) Collins, D. J. Stephenson, Laci Bryson, Brilee Bryson, Kara O’Bryant, Jenna O’Bryant, Emily Bryson, Allie Bryson, and Sawyer Bryson; sister, Belinda (Thomas) Crumbley; great-aunt, Mary Ruth Maddron; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dalton Funeral Home, located at 620 South Glenwood Avenue, Dalton, Georgia 30721.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery.
