Mr. Hubert A. Gibson, age 83, of Dalton, Ga., passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born in Big Stone Gap, VA. on April 19, 1939. He was the owner of Commercial Sewing Machine from 1977 until retirement in 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ozro and Elsie "Jones" Gibson; brother, Jim Gibson. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Gibson; daughter, Caryn and Ronald Goswick; brothers, Otis and Pauline Gibson, Robert Gibson; grandchildren, Andrea and Justin Porter, Amy Buckman, Blake Davis; great grandchildren, Rylan, Sawyer, Colten, Addy. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hubert A. Gibson will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
