Ida Boyd, age 66, of Ringgold, Ga., passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born on April 2, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Estelle "Pace" Boyd; brother, Ronald McCoy; brother in-law, Alan Sales. She is survived by her loving fiancée, Jessie Mealer; sons, Michael Amos, Ronnie and Melissa Amos, Patrick Mealer; daughters, Michelle and Daniel Burk, Niki and Chris Rogers; brothers, Willie Boyd, Roy Lee and Ella Mae Boyd; Sisters, Bernice Boyd, Mary Sales; Ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Ida Boyd will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Keely Hasty officiating. Interment will be at Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home.
