Ivy Oneita Wells, age 86, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, Januray 12, 2021. She was born on August 26, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Augustus and Roxie Annie Askew; daughter, Dorothy Oneita Singleton. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Troy Wells of Dalton Georgia; son in law, Loyd H. Singleton; grandchildren, Talena Smith, Rena Carver, Shanda and Jesse Bryson, Kevin and Amy Hall, Herbie and Lashanda Singleton, Paul and Lulu Singleton and Chanler Singleton; 15 Great grandchildren and 6 Great-great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ivy Oneita Wells will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Denny Gentry and Bro. Lonnie Starnes officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 9-2 Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
