Mr. Jack Erwin Brown "Papaw", age 86, of Resaca, GA passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born on August 27, 1936. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jewel "Cook" Brown; great grandson, Boston Lee Miner; brothers, Dennis Brown, Herbert Brown, Charles "Bud" Brown, and Richard Brown; sisters, Doris Brown, Kathleen Brown, and Eva Mae Nicholson. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Frankie Brown; sons, Michael (Tammy) Brown Sr. of Dalton, Timothy (Shirley) Brown of Dalton, and Randall Brown of Resaca; sisters, Pat Wimpy and Carol (Roy) Smith; grandchildren, Tiffany (Lance) of Dalton, Rachell (Blake) of Cohutta, Tabitha (Antoine) of Dalton, Michael of Dalton, Cory (Jessica) of Resaca, and Telina (James) of Maryland; great grandchildren, Chesnee, Paislee, Swayzee, Katie, Colton, Trinity, Siryah, Lauren, Bailey, Taylor, Regan, Austin, Allison, Kailey, Abby, Carter; and several other great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jack Erwin Brown will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2022 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Harmon officiating the service. Interment will be at Camp Lewallen Cemetery in Dalton. Pallbearers; Lance, Blake, Colton, Antoine, Michael, Cory. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
