Mr. "Jacob" Lake Jones Jr., age 67, of Dalton, GA passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022. He was born on November 1, 1954. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Lake Jones Sr. and Deana "Smith" Jones; and brothers in law, James Burney and Allan Kellett. Mr. Jones worked at World Carpets for 25 years as the Director of Purchasing. He was an avid artist and a world traveler. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Jones of Dalton; son, William and Priscilla Jones of Sharpsburg, GA; sisters, Norman Burney of Rock Spring, GA, Martha Brock of Chattanooga, and Joy Kellett of Rock Spring, GA; brother, James Jones of Rock Spring, GA; and grandchild, Byron Jones of Chatsworth. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. "Jacob" Lake Jones Jr. will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with William Jones officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
