James Nolan Cochran, age 94, of Dalton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 27, 2020. He was born on March 24, 1926 in Gordon County GA. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Velma Cochran; He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Myrtle Cline Cochran; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Gordon DeLashmitt, grandsons, Eric and Christy Greeson and Robbie DeLashmitt; great grandsons, Lucas Stoker and Noah DeLashmitt; sisters-in-law, Jewel McFarland, Ruth Walker and Bill Jones; brother-in-law, Melvin and Wanda Cline; best friend, William Stewart, special friends; Altha Clark, Vera Shipman, Jackie Shipman, Cindy Shipman, Shelby Shipman; along with many other friends A private family service will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
