James Brian Cockburn, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born on April 19, 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorthy Cockburn. He is survived by his wife, Debra Cockburn of Dalton; daughter and son in law, Tiffany and Hunter Custer of Wisconsin; mother and father in law, Lamar and Paulette Barnard of Dalton; brother, Sam Cockburn of Lake Weiss, AL; sisters and brothers in law, Jeanne and Don Teasley of Lake Weiss, Nancy and Marvin Tallent of Dalton, Jayne and Gerald Bynum of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Azmund Custer, Reigner Custer; and several nieces and one special nephew. A graveside service to celebrate the life of James Brian Cockburn will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 20, 2020 at West Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mitch Crow officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
