Mr. James Franklin Henry, age 87, of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022. He was born on January 24, 1935. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dane and Daisy "Whaley" Henry; daughter, Marisa Henry; and sisters, Martha Young and Rossie Ann Henry. Mr. James Franklin Henry was a member of the Sumach Lodge #55. He is survived by his wife, Faye Henry of Chatsworth; son, James and Maria Henry of Monroe, GA; daughters, Cherry Michelle McCann of Loganville, GA, Christina Kaye Downs of Covington, GA, Jeannina Faye Radford of Covington, GA; brothers, Lamar and Betty Henry of Chatsworth, Col. Wayman and Barbara Henry of Cumming, GA, Paul and Elizabeth Henry of CA, Terry and Charlene Henry of Chatsworth; sisters, Doris Black, Markay Wiley, Lillian Burt, Shery Hayes, Patricia West; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and several other nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. James Franklin Henry will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Sumach Presbyterian Church in Chatsworth with Pastor Tom Clark officiating. Mason Rites will be presented at gravesite. Interment will be at Sumach Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. James Franklin Henry will lie in state from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Sumach Presbyterian Church.
