James Tilman Martin, age 74, of Collinsville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020. He was born on February 27, 1946. James proudly served his country and was retired from the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Unita Martin; parents, Charles and Lois Martin; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Harkins; brother, Jerry Martin; and a sister, Barbara Salyer. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Perry "P.J." and Kimberly Martin of Leesburg, AL; daughter and son in law, Jeanita "Lynn" and Richard Nyberg of Sweetwater, TN; brother and sister in law, Gerald Lamar "Marty" and Sue Martin of Daytona, FL; sisters and brother in law, Diane Reba and Johnny Watters of Shannon, GA, Wanda Martin of Collinsville, AL; grandchildren, Cecilia (Scott) Wolter, James (Erin) Martin, Sable, Jessica McPerson/Diana Gosset, Jerry McPherson, Timothy Joseph Harkins, Katherine Renee Harkins; great grandchildren, Addie Wolter, Peyton Smith, Savannah Wolter, Maxwell Martin, Rayleigh Martin, Kayvon Gossett, Kainen (Tai Tai) Gossett, and Kylan Gossett.
