James Franklin Patterson, age 78, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was born on April 16, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Byrdie Patterson; sons, Timothy Patterson and Robert Patterson; sisters, Faye Owen, Jessie Griver and Christine Stout; grandchildren, Scott Guinn and Gerald Patterson, JR. He is survived by his wife, Alberta Patterson of Chatsworth; sons and daughter in law, James G. and Vicky Patterson of Chatsworth, Gerald Patterson of Chatsworth; daughter and son in law, Aileen and Terry Guinn of Chatsworth; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of James Franklin Patterson will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Colonial Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening.
