James "Larry" Poteet, Sr., 68 of Dalton departed this life on February 13, 2017. Larry was born on April 26, 1948 to the late James David "Dave" and Louise Hudgins Poteet. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his 9 brothers and sisters and their spouses. Surviving is his loving wife Kaye Hardin Poteet, son and daughter in law James "Jamie" and Natasha Poteet, Varnell GA, daughters and son in law, Regina and Tony Edds, Rocky Face, GA, and  Kelley Morrison; brother and sister in law, David and Louise Poteet, Chatsworth, GA, 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. A Service to celebrate the life of Larry will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Resaca Church of God at 2:00 PM.
