Mr. James Roy Rymer, age 77, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. He was born on February 25, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents, OK Rymer and Essie "Hollis" Rymer; brothers, Johnny Rymer, and Waymon Rymer. He is survived by his wife, Stella Rymer of Chatsworth; step sons, Garland and Reita Baker of Chatsworth and Steve Baker of Chatsworth, Ron and Leisa Kibble of Ringgold, Ray and Paula Dilbeck of Dalton, Steven (Linda) Dilbeck of Dalton; step daughter, Rita Baker of Chatsworth, Gail and Patrick Burton of Tunnel Hill; sisters, Bonnie Rymer, Mary Ellen Smith, Barbara and Mitchell Hensley, and Mamie and Mark West. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. James Roy Rymer will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Mr. Rymer was a member of Mount Sumach Baptist Church in Cisco; Pastor Bobby Bowers will be officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his former wife Lila 'King' Rymer at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00PM Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
