James Lamar Sane, 82, of Rocky Face, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Nelson Sane and his parents, John and Virginia Sane. James was a member of Central Church of Christ and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include his son, Victor Sane (Carol); daughter, Regina Davidson; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, John Dwight Sane (Anne); sister, Joan Chastain (Lester); aunt, Edna Green; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Central Church of Christ, 515 N Tibbs Rd, Dalton, GA. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 2:00 P.M., Central Church of Christ with Shane Robinson, Steve Griggs, and Ross Jordan officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M., Georgia National Cemetery with military honors.
