Mr. James Carter Sr., age 56, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He was born on August 22, 1965. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Carter and Essie "Hall" Carter; and brother, Joe Carter. He is survived by his sons, Joshua Carter and James Carter Jr. of Dalton; partner, Clyde; and sister, Essie Williams of Rossville. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. James Carter Sr. will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Miller and Chad Pickle officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
