James A. Wilkins, age 56, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, November 27, 2015. He was born February 20, 1959. He is preceded in death by his father, James Paul Wilkins. He is survived by his mother, Etter Louise Wilkins of Dalton; sons, James Paul Wilkins Abernathy of Kingston, GA, James Bryan of Dalton; daughter, Heather Wilkins of Dalton; brothers, Alvin Bruce Wilkins and his wife Lisa of Dalton, Joe Larry Wilkins of Dalton; sisters, Roxie Loretta Smith and her husband Robert, Jackie Clem of Dalton; and 3 grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate the life of James A. Wilkins will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Tony Robinson officiating.
